Policegiri Bollywood Movie Review
A masala tale the story begins with Rudra (sanjay dutt) who is a DCP in a town and he is a tough and strict cop. However, the way he deals with bad guys is rather different. He takes bribes, manipulates the law and does all sorts of things but only for the good of people. He has a villain in the form of Nagori (Prakash Raj) a local politician and a love track with the beautiful Seher (prachi desai). How things take shape from here is anybody’s guess.
Policegiri Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with a predictable storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was not so strong. The dialogues were good at places. The script was average and the screenplay was swift. The background score was alright but songs were just okay. Cinematography was efficient. Editing was required at few places. Costumes were rustic to suit the backdrop while the art department was natural. Sanjay Dutt was comfortable with the role and he delivers it without any hassles. Prachi Desai didn’t have much to do. Prakash Raj was powerful and did well. Om Puri was excellent. Manoj Joshi was moderate. Rajpal Yadav and Rajat Rawail took care of comedy.

Policegiri Filem Review
The film happens to be the remake of the Tamil hit ‘Saamy’ starring Vikram and it is more or less a lift and shift thing. The first half goes about with the interesting antics of the protagonist and the interval bang comes at a predicted time. The second half goes about with the elements of action, some songs and the predictable climax. Overall, this is a film which is a typical commercial potboiler aimed at the masses. At the box office, the film may not work much in multiplexes due to its routine format.

Bharatstudent verdict:
For mass lovers and Sanjay Dutt fans
