Ghanchakkar Bollywood Movie Review
Story:
A good tale gone pale the story begins with Sanjay (emraan) a thief who teams up with Pandit (rajesh sharma) and Idris (namit) to conduct a bank robbery. The plan goes successfully and they decide to lay low for two months. But after that when Pandit and Idris return to take their share, Sanjay refuses to recognize them stating he lost his memory. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a subject filled storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was not good enough. The dialogues were adequate. The script was above average but the screenplay could have been lot better. The background score was suitable and two songs were okay. Cinematography was impressive. Editing was required in key scenes. Costumes were well designed while the art department was upto the mark. Emraan Hashmi has come up with a quality performance and he scores. Vidya is once again excellent. Rajesh Sharma was very good, Namit Das was natural and appealing. Parvin Dabbas was alright. Others didn’t have much scope.

Conclusion:
Like it is always said, it is not necessary that a film which has an excellent plot cannot score success unless it is packed in the right manner. The same happens here. The first half of the film looks promising and entertains, the interval bang was alright but it is the second half that disappoints with routine sequences. The climax twist could have been much better. Overall, this is a film which came in with good expectations but fails to impress. At the box office, success is doubtful.

Bharatstudent Verdict: Good subject, good performances but weak execution
