Presentation: The director has come up with an emotional storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was engaging. The dialogues were sensitive. The script was average but the screenplay was absorbing. The background score was excellent and four songs are fabulous. Cinematography was superb. Editing was required here and there. Costumes were trendy and youthful while the art department was appealing. Aditya Roy gave an intense performance and he showed that he is an actor material. Shraddha looks seductive and delivers to perfection. Shaad Randhawa was very good. Salil Acharya was neat. Mahesh Thakur was good. Others did their bit as required.
Conclusion: The film is not really a sequel to the original blockbuster which came during the early 90s but the title sure catches attention. The first half goes about with lighter tone with elements of music, romance, some comedy and tender feelings but the second half goes intense with emotional melodrama, sentiment and strong heart feelings. Overall, this is a film which will squeeze the juice of the youth and impress with its melody. At the box office, this has everything to score a big hit.
