Chashme Baddoor Bollywood Movie Review
An entertaining tale, the story is about three friends Siddharth, Jai, Omi (Ali Zafar, Siddharth, Divyendu Sharma) whose lives take a turn when they chance upon Seema (Taapsee). All three fall for her but Seema falls in love with only one person. The natural stroke of jealousy occurs and the remaining two friends start their evil plots to break the love birds apart. Who is the guy that Seema chooses? Whether the remaining two are successful in their attempts or not forms the rest of the story.
Chashme Baddoor Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with an entertaining kind of storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was impressive. The dialogues were well written. The script was above average and the screenplay was entertaining in many places. The background score was suitable to the moods and Cinematography captured the visuals very nicely. Editing was crisp and cut the edges properly. Costumes were youthful, trendy and looked very appealing while the art department was natural and creative. Ali Zafar was very natural in his act and he showed good variations. Siddharth was a surprise showstealer with his act. Divyendu was competent. Taapsee made a confident entry and she scored. Rishi Kapoor was fantastic. Anupam Kher was unstoppable. Juhi Chawla was gracious, Sonu Nigam was good, Lilette Dubey was elegant, Bharti Achrekar was funny.

Chashme Baddoor Filem Review
The film is ideally the remake of the 1981 hit with the same title but then the remake has got few elements which have been created by the director himself. The first half goes about with elements of friendship, romance, songs and some drama. But the second half has a great momentum with the various comedy of errors and how a simple pang of jealousy can lead to confusions. But the beauty is, all this has been conveyed in a very lighter vein and there is natural entertainment throughout the proceedings. At the box office, this will strike a chord with the youth and fun loving audience so this has the right kind of ingredients to blow big.

Bharatstudent verdict: Entertaining and hilariously made, don’t miss it!
