| Story: A gripping tale, the story begins with Vivaan (rajeev) and Siya (tena) a young married couple who win a fully paid vacation to Fiji. The couple is all thrilled and prepares to celebrate their wedding anniversary in a special way. Their happiness gets doubled when they are approached by Mr Khan (paresh) and invited for a reality show which can win them Rs 21 crores. Eight questions have to be answered truthfully. The couple grabs this invite with excitement but is it as simple as it looks? That’s what forms the rest of the story. |
| Presentation: The director has come up with an engrossing storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was good enough. The dialogues were well written, the script was sensible and the screenplay was neat. The background score was apt and three songs were worth hearing. Cinematography was the best. Editing was crisp. Costumes were stylish and the art department was awesome. Rajeev Khandelwal has given yet another riveting performance and he scores. Tena Desae is a vision of beauty and she not only sizzles with her oomph but also strikes with her natural beauty. Paresh Rawal was the showstealer with his natural performance. Hanif Hilal was neat, Asheesh Kapur was apt, Dhruv Ganesh was decent. |
Conclusion: Despite the fact that the film has a pair of newcomers, the director had enough confidence in his script and he wove it with a lot of interesting elements. The first half goes in an unexpected manner as a smooth romantic tale but things change completely during the second half as it become serious and goes more towards a thriller kind of film. The climax is quite justified. Overall, this is a film which would work with the thriller seekers and multiplex audience. At the box office, profits are very likely. Bharatstudent verdict: An interesting thriller, well made and worth watching |
