Political career of actor-turned-politician Ramya has taken the centre stage ever since the she contested and won the Lok Sabha seat from Mandya constituency last year.
But Ramya never made any official announcement in this regard. However, at the recent state film awards for 2010 and 2011 event hosted at Dharwad, Ramya had given clues that she might quit acting as she got on stage to receive the best actress award for Sanju Weds Geetha.
She reportedly said that her father would every year hope that she would win and it happened with Sanju Weds Geetha. She also revealed that it might be her first and last state award for acting.
