| Urvashi Rautela, who was recently seen in Kaabil, has double reasons to celebrate. The talented actress recently won two awards at a popular awards ceremony down south.
The organisers of TSR TV9 National Film Awards recently revealed the winners for 2015 and 2016 at a grand function held at Vizag Cricket Stadium.
Urvashi, who made her Kannada debut with Mr. Airavata, won the Best Award for her performance in the film. But that's not all. She also received Special Jury Award for her contribution in Bollywood.
She says, "This was first film in South and I am honoured and humbled to receive this award. The amount of love I have received for my role is outstanding. I hope to do more films in South."
"I would love to work with Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Rajinikanth, Shankar, Rajamouli, Puri Jagannath, and all the people who I look up to. South is a very big industry and they make a lot of films. In fact, we have a lot of remakes in Bollywood from south. So I want to do more films in South."
In her acceptance speech, Urvashi thanked the Deol family for debut in Bollywood as she forayed into the industry with Sunny Deol starrer Singh Saab The Great. Veteran actress Hema Malini, who was also present at the ceremony, congratulated Urvashi on her achievement.
The 22-year-old actress, who has done films like Singh Saab the Great, Sanam Re, Great Grand Masti, and Kaabil, dedicated the award to filmmakers Rakesh Roshan, Divya Khosla Kumar, Anil Sharma, and Indra Kumar. She also sang a few lines from her song Saara Zamaana.
The pretty actress is currently busy prepping for next Hindi film. The award ceremony was held at a cricket stadium in Visakhapatnam and it was attended by several top celebrities from Indian cinema, including Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Mohan Babu, Jayaprada, Meena and Bappi Lahari. Around 50,000 people were present at the event.
