Log in to blogs.bharatstudent.com, create a blog, or if u already hav one, click on create new post and then upload photos or videos.

How do I delete images ?
Edit the post after logging in, and thereby delete the post.

Blogs

What's a blog anyway?
Blog is a short version for weblog, you can compare it to an online journal or diary.
You can use your blog for exchanging ideas, thoughts, experiences or simply to communicate with family, friends and readers.

What´s an URL?
This is a permanent internet address of an item, such as a photo or other media. You can copy this link and mail it to a friend.

What´s a tag?
A tag works like a keyword. Like categories, they are used to describe people, groups, or posts. You can tag a post with several tags separated by commas. Example: tags for the post your wrote about your holiday in Australia could be: holiday, australia, down under, sun, hot, melbourne, sydney, dingos. Many tags help to have your posts be found more easily, but fewer tags also help you with organizing your posts.

What are comments?
Comments are some saved thoughts from other people regarding a post you have written. You can always leave comments regarding certain posts. Other readers can again comment on these comments. Usually, every reader also leaves an email or the internet address of his or her blog with the comment so people can learn a bit more about the person.

What content is unacceptable to blogs.bharatstudent.com?
First of all: We do not monitor content.
You as a user carry responsibility and liablilty for content you upload and publish. However, we do check on content which has been brought to our attention. In certain cases, we will delete content without prior notification.

Content which is very likely to get deleted without prior notification includes:
Pornography - We delete media of sexual interaction and media displaying genitalia.
Violence - content glorifying violence or depicting scenes of extreme violence will be deleted.
Racism/sexism/homophobia - content expressing racial/sexual intolerance or symbols such as swastikas will be deleted
Spam - Users who leave spam comments, send unsolicited private messages, have blogs full of links to external sites or have blogs excessively using tags or display links or keywords in a repetitive and senseless way will be deleted
Infringement of copyright - any blogs clearly infringing the copyright of another person will be deleted.

This list is not exhaustive. Anything could be subject to review by our support team. In less severe cases we may ask the user to make the post/media in question private.

A blogger on bharatstudent.com is infringing my copyright, or is making abusive comments about me. What should I do?
Drop us a mail here, explaining which specific parts of the blog are infringing your rights.
Also, please contact the blogger in question and request that they remove the content. We will do the same, and if no compromise is reached, we may delete the blog.

How do I delete a post?
Simply Log in, goto the 'manage blogs' page, click on delete to the appropriate post.

How can I find my blog?
Log in, go to the Manage Blogs' page, all the blogs you have created will be listed there.

How do I introduce my blog to other people?
The most important thing is to produce quality. Be it entertaining, scientific or simply a good read - the more articles you post, the higher the chance of somebody finding your blog through a search engine. But they will only stick with your blog and help you build readership if you blog continuously and if you're worth their time.

An important thing to building readership is to browse around on other blogs that you find interesting and leaving your mark. And the search engines go through your blog already, which is an added bonus to helping people find your blog.

You leave your mark by commenting and rating other people's blogs. You thereby build relationships and, over a while, readership. Extremely good bloggers have a lot of readers each day and even get to earn parttime from the various contests on offer at Bharatstudent.com

How do I delete a blog?
Log in, go to the Manage Blogs' page, all the blogs you have created will be listed there. Delete the blog you wish to.

How do I create a new blog?
Log in, go to the Manage Blogs' page. Here you have the option to create a new blog.
