Dark circles have always been a major issue for housewives and to those who work hard without sleep. This tends to age you quite quickly and while there are many creams available in the market here are few tips that you can follow at home and this should be able to cure the dark circle problem. For starters, you can apply creams containing vitamin E, C around the eyes before going to sleep.
The other way is to grate some raw potato and soak a cotton ball in the potato juice. Place these cotton balls on your closed eyes and ensure that they cover the dark circles under your eyes along with the eyelids. Keep it on for ten minutes and then you can wash with cold water. Another method is by applying a mixture of a teaspoon of tomato and lime juice.
This should be applied twice a day and it will help in reducing the dark circles. Another easy way is to drink a glass of tomato juice by mixing it up with some salt, mint leaves and lemon juice. The drink should be had twice a day and this will also reduce the dark circles to a great extent. To those who are not comfortable with fruits or drinking fruit juices, here is another tip.
Take four or five almonds and crush them into powder. Add them with some milk so that a paste can be formed. This can be applied over the affected area and then left for ten to fifteen minutes. Doing this regularly would lighten the affected skin region around the eyes. You can also crush few mint leaves and apply them around the eyes. This will give a cooling effect on tired eyes.
