The benefits of eating Dates   

With the summer heat blazing, it is important to come up with diet that can match the heat. One such fruit which is quite useful in this weather is the Dates. They have a rich fill of essential nutrients along with vitamins and minerals. They also contain iron, potassium, phosphorus, copper, manganese, magnesium, sulphur which are very useful for the health and vitality of the human body.

Having one Date per day is mandatory to have a healthy and balanced diet. They can be had just like that or you could add them to your favourite desserts and eat them.

Dates can also be used to make chutneys with tamarind or tomatoes. These chutneys can be stored in refrigerators. Usually, they add a lot of taste when dipped while having snacks.

Dates are ideal for breakfast due to their soft and easily digestible flesh. The presence of fructose and sucrose helps to revitalize the body instantly and once eaten, it also replenishes the energy in a big way.

They are rich in dietary fiber and it also acts as a good bulk laxative. Having Dates tend to prevent dietary LDL cholesterol absorption.

Dates are rich in Vitamin A and they have good anti-oxidant properties which are very essential for vision. The Vitamin A also helps in maintaining healthy skin and mucus membrane. 

Having Dates daily helps in preventing lung and oral cavity cancers and they are a rich source of iron.
