The presence
of PCs in Indian households has been high and as part of that Lenovo which is India’s
biggest PC vendor has come up with a new product. This is called IdeaCentre
A720 and this is deemed as the world’s slimmest all-in-one computer. It is
being offered at a price of Rs 89990 onwards and the company claims that it is
powered by the third generation Intel Core i7 processor.
This is the
USP and the 27” is known for it sleek frame.
It boasts of a 10-finger
multi-touch screen which can be folded down for interactive tabletop games. The
computer has an adjustable hinge. The A720 has also got an integrated
entertainment feature such as Lenovo High-Sense (720p HD) webcam along with a
Lenovo IdeaTouch, which offers a range of games and applications.
Some of the
highlights of the product are – the Graphics comprises of NVIDIA® GeForce® 2GB and
the operating system used is Windows 7 Home Premium and Windows 8-ready. The
monitor is 27" full HD (1920x1080) with a frameless 10-point multi-touch
display (16:9 widescreen). Coming to the memory, it has up to 8GB DDR3 memory
and it can be expanded up to 1TB HDD.
Similarly,
the other memory can be stored up to 64GB.
The SSD storage comprises of a DVD
reader/writer or a Blu-ray Disc drive. There is the regular Bluetooth Wi-Fi
(802.11b/g/n) with a facility of USB2.0, USB3.0 connectors & 6 in 1 card
reader HDMI in/out. The audio comprises of Integrated stereo speakers
supporting Dolby Home Theatre V4 audio enhancement.
