The Samsung company has been invading the tablet market with its range of products and now it is heard that the Galaxy Note is going to have a successor. This is in the form of Galaxy Note 2 (name yet to be confirmed). This hybrid tablet-smartphone device is also called as Phablet and it is gearing up for an arrival soon. So, here is a look at what this device has got to offer for its users.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will have a 5.5 inch touchscreen and it would be slightly bigger in display when compared to the 5.3 inch display in the current version. The dimensions will be the same though. The Phablet is likely to run on Jelly Bean and this is the latest version of Android. There are also reports that the device will have a camera with a resolution of 12 or 13 megapixel.
This is a very high upgrade from Galaxy since the current version has got only 8 megapixel snapper. On the flip side, the Galaxy Note 2 would not be using the unbreakable plane (UBP) display which is considered to be quite durable than the rest of the screens. The reasons for that are yet to be known. While the size and shape has been defined, here are few internal features.
Galaxy Note 2 is expected to have S-Voice, S-Beam, Smart Stay. This is likely to be powered by a quad core Exynos 5250 processor along with an ARM Cortext- A15 CPU. The device has been designed to counter the arrival of the new version of iPhone being launched by Apple in the coming months. Galaxy Note 2 is expected to hit the retail stores in September or October.
