With each passing day, the Korean companies have been invading the Indian mobile market in a big way. While Samsung is the biggest player right now, even LG is not behind and now they have come up with a new phone. They have launched the new LG Optimus L7 in India. This is the first of its kind mid-range smartphone which is coming up with the new Optimus UI 3.0 customer interface.
Optimus L7 runs on the latest version of Google’s Android operating system which is the Ice Cream Sandwich or Android 4.0. Also, the device is pre-loaded with LG Mobile TV. This is an application wherein the user can watch more than 50 live TV channels. It also offers online Widget support, provides on-demand service. There is also free TV viewing for two months from date of activation.
The Optimus L7 has a significant display as it has a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen. This supports images of upto 800x480 pixels resolution. Coming to the inside, the smartphone comprises of 1GHz processor with a speed of 512MB RAM. The internal memory is built with 4GB and this is expandable upto 32GB with the help of a MicroSD.
Just like any other smartphone device, the Optimus has got connectivity options which include 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi along with GPS. The camera is quite effective as it has got 5-megapixel resolution along with LED flash. This is equipped with autofocus and VGA video recording. It also has a frontfacing video call camera. It is heard that the device claims around 6 hours talk-time and up to 25 days standby time. This is priced at Rs 19900.
