Take a saucepan and put ¾ cup chopped onions in it
Add the 4 ½ cups peeled and diced potatoes to the saucepan
Fill the saucepan with water and boil
Simmer it for about 10 minutes till it gets soft
Drain the whole mix
Now take the 1 tbsp margarine and melt it in the saucepan
This should be added with 3 tbsp flour
Stir the whole mix until it gets smooth
Then heat the mixture so that it becomes thick
Add the 1 quart whole milk mixture to the onions and potatoes
Heat it to serving temperature |
