- Sonakshi is an Indian actress and model, born in Mumbai in Srivastava (kayastha) family. She is daughter of actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha and Punam Sinha. She has two brothers, Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha.
- She first started her career as a model, and walked the ramp for the first time at Lakme Fashion week in 2008 and then again in Lakme Fashion week 2009. She has worked in Lakme Fashion week and has been chosen to represent India for the Model Gate Show, she also graced the cover of the FHM magazine.
