WHAT IS ANIMATION?
Ever dreamt of making a “WALL E”. Here is your chance to learn the basics of animation. Animation has been a medium of universal appeal beyond the limits of age and nationalities and has been explored as a potent medium of not only entertainment but also of communication, education and empowerment. Today animation is very popular across our country and we see a great level of enthusiasm
among the people to learn this medium with great interest.
Animation is a visual technique that provides the illusion of motion by displaying a collection of images in rapid sequence. Each image contains a small change, for example a leg moves slightly, or the wheel of a car turns. When the images are viewed rapidly, your eye fills in the details and the illusion of movement is complete.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
In this workshop the participants will learn about basic principles of animation through a combination of exercises, lectures, presentations and animation film screenings with an ultimate aim of making the participants familiar with basics of animation to open ways of advanced learning in animation film design.

SCHEDULE
1 hour classes will be held for 3 days a week.
One batch of this workshop will be conducted in Kottayam (Kerala) from July 1 to August 15.
Three batches(one month each) of this workshop will be conducted in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) as per the following schedule. Batch 1 August 15 to September 14 Batch 2 September 15 to October 14 Batch 3 October 15 to November 14
