| Lalitha Kala Thoranam was the venue for the grand occasion of Nandi Awards 2008 on March 16th, the auspicious day of Ugadi. Chief Minister K Roshaiah as Chief Guest and Dr J Geeta Reddy, I and PR, Cinematography, FDC and Tourism minister of Andhra Pradesh graced the function to present the awards to the award winners. Special awards like NTR Award to Sr actress Smt Jamuna, Raghupathi Venkaiah Award to Smt Vijaya Nirmala, Nagireddy Chakrapani Award to Sri Ramesh Prasad and BN Reddy Award to Sri KB Tilak were presented along with the regular Nandi Awards. |
