'Seema Sastry' is in doldrums for quite sometime. With major technical issues and other comedian actors not turning up due to date's problem, the movie is perennially getting delayed. This delay in the movie led to frustration for EVV Satyanaryana, who gave an ultimatum to the producers of the movie. Allari Naresh is playing the lead role. Though Naresh is cooperative with the producer of the film, his father EVV fixed a dead line for the completion of the film, since the delay is affecting his son's career.

Finally things started moving at brisk space and the expectation is the movie will be released by September. Earlier the movie as per the schedule was slated to be released in the month of March 2007.
