So far, Santosh Sivan showed his magic by being behind the camera and show his cinematography skills. But last year he made his debut as a hero and now that movie is arriving.
 
This is the Malayalam movie Makaramanju and this has been renamed as Ravi Varma for the Telugu version. Santosh Sivan is flanked by the magnetic face beauty Nithya Menon and the voluptuous Karthika.
 
As the title indicates, the story is based on the life of the noted artist Raja Ravi Varma and the camera is cranked by Madhu Ambat and music is by Ramesh Narayan.
