He is called as Darsakaratna by the Tollywood folks and though he has passed his prime, he is still considered the most respected and highly revered intellectuals of the Telugu film industry.

He is none other than Dasari Narayana Rao and today he is celebrating his birthday. Dasari has directed more than hundred films and though his recent ventures have bombed, his previous films scored big hits.
