Story:
A typical tale, the story begins with Krishna (krishna) and Krishnaveni (vijayalakshmi) who come to Rameshwaram and get married in a temple. Eventually, they get chased by a special police team from Delhi led by a tough cop (kalyan). In this, the newly married couple is given refuge by a flower vendor (sampathraj). After getting them to their home, he reveals that he is also a cop and pressurizes them to reveal their true story. Krishna reveals their flashback which involves a minister (haneefa) and that's why all this. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a routine tale and though the presentation was good, the narrative was not upto the mark. The dialogues were okay, the script was just okay and the screenplay was standard. Background score was okay and songs were a letdown. Cinematography was the major show stealer, it was impressive. Editing could have been better. Costumes were apt and the art department was good. Krishna does his bit well and he manages to score. Vijayalakshmi looks seductive but she has to work on her body language and expressions. The real show stealer was Sampathraj who was a revelation. Santhana Bharathi was okay, Kalyan was not good, Haneefa was upto the mark. The others didn't have much screen time.

Conclusion:
The film runs on a very weak storyline so a lot depended on the screenplay and the pacing. While the first half was promising, the second half gets into a bit of a drag and there are hiccups giving the audience idle time. So, the film as such becomes good in parts and overall, it fails to connect. At the box office, it is more of a treat to the masses. Few of the scenes are minus logic which is yet another drawback for the film. This will be a below average treat at the box office but a word of mouth talk and aggressive publicity can get it to a profit status.

Bharatstudent Verdict: Could have been better
