When Vettaikaran did not hit the theatres on Diwali, it was expected to release on Pongal. And there was expected a clash between the 'Thala' film and the 'Ilaya Thalapathy' film. But now it seems like a memorandum of understanding has been signed. Vettaikaran is going to release on the 18th of December, this year. So we will have a treat in December to look forward to. The film has Vijay pairing up with the awesome beauty Anushka in the lead.
