Directed by Subramaniam Pillai and starring Karunaas, ' Dindigul Sarathy' is said to be remade in Kannada. The film is titled ' Nanjangud Nanjunda' and is directed by Srinivas Prasad. The cinematography is handled by Suresh and the lead pair would be played by Ravishankar and Hamsini. The film will be completely shot in Mysore and Srirangapatnam. It is interesting to note that Dindigul Sarathy was a remake of a Malayalam film Vadakku Nooki Yanthram.
