He made his debut as a child artist in "Vettiya Madichu Kattu" in 1998 and then was a hero in "Sakkarakatti" which released in 2008. Shanthanoo is the son of Tamil veteran actor-director Bhagyaraj and Poornima. He is currently acting in two bi-lingual movies in Tamil and Telugu - "Pudhiya Varpugal" and "Sare Nee Istam". Now according to reports, he is acting in a Malayalam flick named "Angel John" which stars Mohanlal in the lead and Shanthanoo is acting as his son. Well looks like Shanthanoo seems to be trying all languages much earlier in his career.
