Story: A rags to rich tale, the story begins with Shiva (Adithya) who is a nice man and does not have any issues in taking up any jobs. So he begins his life as a rag picker and his life takes a turn when he meets a judge. The judge motivates him to set high ambitions in life and Shiva decides to take over the paper mill that is next to the waste paper mart that he is working. On the other hand, he falls in love with Kavinaya ( Manoha) whose father is a very selfish man ( Manivannan). However, Kavinaya hates Shiva in the start but later on she falls in love with him. But things change when her father tries to con the corrupt minister Aranganayakam (Kadhal Dhandapani) and take away his Rs1000 crores. So he goes into hiding and the minister decides to wreak revenge by attacking Kavinaya. Shiva comes in between and saves Kavinaya and from then on, he takes the minister and decides to put an end to his evil acts. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Presentation: The director has attempted to come up with a different storyline but eventually he ended up making it routine. The narrative was average and the presentation was mediocre. The dialogues were normal, the script was written with no variety, the screenplay was standard. Music could have been better but the cinematography captured few angles very well. Editing was raw, costumes were below mark and other departments need no mention here. Adithya tried his best to live up to the role and has impressed. Even Manoha has come out with fairly good expressions, Kadhal Dhandapani was apt, Vincent Roy, Azhagu, Crane Manohar were regular. The real show stealer was M S Bhaskar who did a fine job with his 'Chennai Thamizh' slang. The others were okay.
Conclusion: The film is a regular tale and while the first half takes off looking like a very different venture somehow it drifts into the regular tale becoming the regular story. The performances by the lead pair was good and if the makers had focused on the quality and the content of the story then it could have worked out even better. The film has nothing special to offer and it might just pass off as a weak one at the box office. The mass audience might find it appealing.
