The Kerala police introduced a new movement called "Aspirations", the Janamaitri Anti Terrorism Campaign on 26 Jan, 2009. This campaign which was inaugurated by Minister for Home, Vigilance and Tourism, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan was sponsored by SRK Group and Idea Mobile. Anti terrorism toll free number 96560-00100 was released along with the slogan of the campaign "Kochiite alert - report any suspect terrorism activity". Tamil stars Vijay, Vikram, Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, Vivek Oberoi, Shilpa Shetty and Malayalam stars Mammootty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi attended this event along with cricket stars Sourav Ganguly, Sreesanth, Anil Kumble and Miss World first runner up Parvathy Omanakuttan.
