The noted actress Aparna Pillai was a popular star in Kollywood after her debut with lean star Dhanush in Pudukottayilirundhu Saravanan.
 
Though she never achieved box office success through another dozen films, she eventually opted for marital bliss. The actor will be now seen on Television as a director.
 
It is heard that the actress is the creative head and director of the game show Aayirathil Oruvan, which is being telecast on Zee Tamizh. Sources say Aparna is enjoying her new stint.
