Kaviarasu Vairamuthu has always been known for his wonderful lyrics and the way he describes nature, women through his poetic lines. But recently he did something more social.
 
Apparently, Vairamuthu came up with a literary work called Moondram Ulaga Paar and this is a Tamil literary work which showcases the plight of farmers due to globalization.
 
Incidentally, the book also has Vairamuthu as himself and he becomes a guest speaker. The book has got a tremendous response from all and Vairamuthu's intentions have been praised.
