If all goes well the chances are that the hot star Suriya would be reprising the role of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan in the remake of the yesteryear movie Sakalakala Vallavan.
 
It is heard that recently Suriya had expressed a desire to do the remake and this has got the original producers AVM Productions to do the groundwork and come up with the script.
 
The original was directed by SP Muthuraman and the music and songs by Isai Gnani Ilaiyaraaja was a major highlight for the original. For now, Suriya is arriving with his new movie Maatran.
