It has been quite a while since the film Poda Podi has been on the floors and it has been progressing at a snail pace. The film has Simbu as the hero while Varalaxmi is the heroine.
 
Now, the news is that the audio rights for the film have been taken by Sony Music. The music is composed by Dharan and the film is slated to be a musical love story. The album comprises of six tracks.
 
STR himself has rendered his voice for two songs and penned the lyrics for a Bhangra song. The film marks the debut of Vignesh Shivaa as the director and it is produced by Nemichand Jabak.
