One of the recent releases in Kollywood Kalakalappu scored a big hit and now it is heard that this has prompted the makers UTV Motion pictures to plan for a sequel.
 
This has been directed by Sundar C and sharing his thoughts, he has reportedly mentioned that the sequel will not be a continuation per se but it will have a different storyline and characterization.
 
The project is expected to hit the floors in the month of November. However, it is not sure if the original cast of Vimal, Siva, Anjali, Oviya would be retained for this or not.
