The noted director Siddique scored a raging hit in the form of Bodyguard and he repeated the act by remaking the same film in Tamil as Kavalan. Now, it is heard that Kavalan has got a special honour. Sources say it has been invited to be screened at the International Film Festival to be held in Shanghai from June 11^th to June 19^th. The film had superstar Vijay in the lead along with the Malayalam beauties Asin and Mithra Kurien doing key roles.
