Story:
A remake tale, the story begins with the wealthy music company owner Rakesh Menon (siddique) and he has a group of egoistic friends who take pleasure in inviting an 'idiot' for their weekend fun and ridicule him. This time, it is the turn of Krishnan Unni (jagadeesh), an insurance agent who is an aspiring singer. He meets up with Rakesh and his friends and his foolish innocence becomes an amusement for the group. But in no time, Krishna's antics also open up a box of trouble for Rakesh and he ends up with a sprained back, his sexy wife Seema (nayana) leaving him and a raid as well. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and though the presentation was alright, the narrative could have been better. The script was okay, the dialogues were witty at places, the screenplay was staggering at few places. Background score was good but songs were unnecessary, not much work for the cinematography team since most of it is indoors. Editing could have been better. Costumes were average and art department was effective. Siddique was superb in his act and so was Jagadeesh. They steal most of the limelight. Biju Menon was usual, Jagathy was hilarious, Manoj was good, Nayana looks sexy but she must work on her expressions. The others did their bit as required.

Conclusion:
The film happens to be a remake of the Bollywood hit movie 'Bhejafry' and the makers didn't do much to deviate from the original. While the first half goes about with the regular elements of dry comedy and the one or two interesting sequences, the second half has got enough twists and sequences of laughter which give relief. The film runs primarily on performances and the script and its execution was meant to be strong. Overall, this is an above average movie but could have been better at few places.

Bharatstudent Verdict: Passable entertainer
