Story:
A technical treat, the story is about the police officer Simon (mammootty) who has only two passions in his life - one is his son Adi (master Dhananjay) and the other is watching cricket matches on television. As a result, Simon is made fun of by his colleagues and he doesn't really take much interest in his job. However, the story takes a turn when Simon goes to catch a don Babu bhai (ashish) but then is tricked by his own colleagues. He is suspended but is more than happy since that gives him more time with his son and also for cricket. This incurs the wrath of his wife Annie (richa) but in vain. One day, Simon and Adi are returning from a theater when they see the international cricketer getting attacked by goons. They save him from the baddies and soon Simon gets back into the duty. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a regular story but more than the narrative, it is the presentation that scores a lot. The dialogues were regular, the script was weak, the screenplay was okay. Music didn't have much to contribute but the cinematography was excellent. Also good was the art department and the costumes which really made up for the flaws. Mammootty was his regular self but didn't have much to do in terms of performance, the character was weak. Richa looked ravishing while the child artiste was the real show stealer. Ashish Vidyarthi was underutilized, Biju Menon was standard, Radhika was neat, Vijayaraghavan was okay, the others came and went.

Conclusion:
The film comes up with a very weak and disinteresting storyline but then it is due to the presence of high ammunition stars and some glamorous presentation that it tends to look much nice. While the first half goes about with the elements of fun between father and son with some masala sequences, the second half is more on a serious note and gains some momentum. The film has been tailor made for Mammootty fans and also for the kids. This might not be a great generator at the box office but it will just pass off.

Bharatstudent Verdict: Kids and Mammootty fans might like it
