It has been quite a while since the project Idukki Gold was on the floors but no news has come. Some have already declared that the project has been stalled and will not come.
 
Speaking about it, director Aashiq Abu who made the hit movie Salt N Pepper reportedly mentioned that the project is very much alive and will continue to progress next year.
 
He maintained that there are few hiccups in scripting so changes had to be made. The film has Lal, Shankar, Raveendran and Babu Anthony. The film is based on a short story by Santosh.
