Story:

An emotional drama, the story begins at a railway station and here is Siddarth (sudeep) who is all lost in thought. In comes Tanu (ramya) who misses her train and she recognizes Siddarth and misconstrues that he is the same guy who tried to commit suicide few times. Their conversations develop into friendship and in no time, Tanu falls in love with him. However, the story gets into the flashback when Siddarth turns her proposal down and reveals about his friendship with Adhi and how one of his admirers Divya (keerthi) and her suicide changes his stand towards love and relationships. Tanu from her end tries her best to persuade Siddarth to see it in a different way. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has attempted to come up with an emotional gripping tale but then he was not upto the mark in terms of narration while the presentation was good. The dialogues were alright, script was weak and the screenplay was average. Background score was effective and two songs can be taken home. Cinematography was top notch, editing was needed at key scenes and costumes, art department were perfect. Sudeep comes as a contrast from his action image to a rather sober image and he did justice. Ramya was good in performance but she needs to do something about her bloating figure, Keerthi looked pretty, Avinash was apt, Rajesh was regular, Yathiraj was alright, the others contributed in their own way.

Conclusion:
The film is slated to be a romantic treat with emotional highs and lows but such flicks require a strong screenplay. While the first half goes about with the lighter elements of friendship and romance, the second half gets into the twisted tale. Frequent jumping from flashback to the current and leaving logic to the winds has taken a toll in the movie. Commercially, it could be a bare average grosser due to the brand value of the stars involved but it won't be a hit.

Bharatstudent Verdict: Nice but could have been better
