Yet another dark day in the history of the Kannada film industry happened on Saturday when the noted director, writer and a senior personality K V Jayaram died in the early hours. He was ailing from a kidney failure since a long time and breathed his last in Bangalore. Associated with the industry for the last 33 years, Jayaram has got the credit of winning the state award for best direction eight times and was known for his films like 'Ibbani Karagithu' 'Hosa Neru' 'Aruna Raga' and others.
