So far, the noted actress Shruti has been seen in the silver screen doing variety roles but now she is all set to enthrall the audience of the small screen too. This is happening through a Tamil serial.
 
Sources say that Shruti has been roped in for a serial titled Karthigai Pengal and this would be telecasted in the Udaya TV serial. This also has the senior actor Bhanuchander doing an important role.
 
On the film front, Shruti teamed up with Sharan for the new movie Rambo. She has a decent following in the Tamil circuit due to her performance in the hit movie Kalki.
