Creating milestones in history of Indian music, the ingenious playback singer Sonu Nigam will now be judging the international music reality show ' X Factor' of Indian version. Sonu Nigan expresses the ' X Factor' show to be a great platform for all the fresh singers, bands and performers to prove their talent, passion and commitment for music. The candidates will be judged on 3 qualities - singing talent, attitude and star quality. People from any musician background can take part in the show. The show will be aired on Sony entertainment channel in several parts of the country.

Sony entertainment channel partnered with Fremantle Media an international company to format the X Factor show.  As per the sources, the three judges will be Sonu Nigam, Sanjay Leela Bansali, Salim Merchant and show will be hosted by Aditya Narayan.
