Story:
An offbeat tale, the story is about Jolly Maker (cyrus) who is a rather stale looking, disinterested guy in life. He works as an accountant with a shrewd and heinous builder Khandar (Mahesh). Jolly is prone to accidents and he often leaves behind a major path of destruction. The story takes a turn when his colleague, the sexy looking Monica (dia) who never loses out on an opportunity to ridicule him disappears. Jolly discovers that she is kidnapped and from then on, he begins his search for her. In no time, he finds himself in the middle of something big and a rather weird plot by a former maharaja Harry Holkar (boman) who is bent upon destroying the city of Mumbai. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a whacky storyline and though the presentation was good, the narrative lapsed at few points. The script was not upto the mark, the screenplay was alright. Dialogues were witty, background score suited the moods and nothing much about songs, cinematography captured few shots very well. Editing could have been better. Costumes were suitable and the art department was creative. Cyrus gave a first class performance, Dia looked really hot and she was good in her act as well. Mahesh Manjrekar was fabulous and the real show stealer as usual was Boman Irani with his eccentric acts. Atmaram was alright, Rajit was regular, Vijay could have been better, Surendra came and went. The others didn't have much to offer in this.

Conclusion:
The film is more of an urban audience oriented theme and though there were quite a number of hilarious moments, there are times when the dose of it crosses the line. While the first half goes about with the building of the plot, the second half deals with the real twists and turns and there are some real good moments and there are some idle moments as well. Overall, the film is good in parts and if only the writing was focused with consistency, this could have been a laugh riot. The multiplex audience might find it appealing in bits but success at box office is doubtful.

Bharatstudent Verdict: Good in parts, just okay
