Shah Rukh Khan had recently been offered to Raj Thackeray in Raju Kokate's Mumbai Tiger. The actor who already has many controversies up his sleeves, denied the role as he didn't want to get another one behind him. SRK had earlier turned down an offer form Ashutosh Gowarikar with whom he had made Swades which did badly at the BO. Even after Ashutosh offering attractive incentives, SRK was not ready to take the bait.
