The hard hitting director Madhur Bhandarkar has carved a unique place for himself in the tinsel world in showcasing real life situations and roles.
 
While Madhur accompanied hot star Kareena Kapoor to Siddhi Vinayak temple in Mumbai recently to pray for the success of the film Heroine, the movie's co-producer Renu Bhandarkar did something else.
 
She is also Mrs. Bhandarkar and she arranged a special screening of the movie for veteran actresses in Mumbai like Helen, Asha Parekh, Waheeda Rehman, Shammi Aunty and others.
