Prague has been consciously and subconsciously on the mind of Indians for a long time and has always inspired Indian artists.

Thakur Rabindranath Tagore had visited Prague- The Czech Capital in eastern europe and it became one of his favorite cities-in his memory they named a street in Prague called -Thakurova, with Thakur Tagore's statue.

Prague has been having a lot of influence on bollywood too. The beautiful alleys of Prague with its beautiful culture will be seen again & this time in the favour of Chandan Roy Sanyal, whose next film which is a thriller has not only been shot entirely in Prague, but has also been titled as PRAGUE.

PRAGUE will soon be having its World premiere at the 12thOSIAN'S - CINEFAN FILM FESTIVAL. PRAGUE, can intriguingly be described as a psychological thriller that takes you to the darkest corners of your mind, the shut down alleys of your soul and to the graveyard of your heart. This film deals with the inner conflicts of Chandan, a passionate architect who comes to Prague for a project along with his friend Gulshan, a person he idolizes and wants to emulate but also fears. Here he meets a gypsy girl, Elena, a Czech looking for her identity and love who inspires him to make a monument for the unaccounted gypsies who died during WWII. She eventually becomes the love of his life and his inspiration.

Let's hope the luck of 'PRAGUE' shines on Chandan too.
