Tannishta Chatterjee suffers heat stroke while shooting for JAL

Director Girish Malik's " JAL" starring Purab Kohli and Tannishtha Chatterjee will soon be hitting the silver screen. The movie is making rounds at various film festivals and getting acclaimed for the script and the performances. The whole movie is shot in Rann of Kutch, where the temperature rises to enormous degree and is also one of the places where there is a lot of water scarcity.

While shooting the movie the crew had to face a lot of difficulties one of the major difficulty they faced was the ever rising temperature. While shooting the whole movie the temperature was at staggering 50 degrees and was very hot and due to the dry weather people were always thirsty. "While shooting for one of the scenes during the mid day, it so happened that Tannishta started feeling dizzy and collapsed on the ground all of a sudden." Said a source. The whole crew rushed to her and started spraying water on her face and a doctor had to be called immediately. Tannishta had suffered a massive heat stroke because of the high rising temperature; she could not deal with the heat, so the shoot had to be called off. The doctor gave her the needed medications and the whole crew took adequate precautions when they continued the shoot.
