One of the budding heroes in the Bengal circuit is Rishi Kaushik. He shot to fame with his role as Ujaan in the Star Jalsa television series Ekhane Akash Neel. He was born in Tezpur, Assam and graduated from the Guwahati University. Though he has not gone through any training in acting, he managed to get few tele-film offers and from there he made his debut as a hero in the television series Ek Din Pratidin.
