Journalists could be a dumb lot. Recently, one of them, most convincingly a Bengali took Aishwarya Rai to be Aishwarya Roy. In his zest to prove a point or two went on to write an entire article on the Bengali connection the Tulu lady has. He also went on to find some of her Bengali roots which he did not find. At the end he cut a sorry figure when he realized that he was barking against the wrong tree. No wonder he was a laughing stock among his own community.
