Filmmaker Sisir Sahana is known for his touching and sensitive movies which was evident in his previous flick "Prithvi". His latest venture is titled "Maati O Maanush" which is about the soil and its people. The movie is about a born-mute girl of a village school headmaster who is termed as a witch by village fundamentalists. Even the politicians increase the trouble for their own benefits. This movie reflects the failed system and the dark world that we are living in.
