In what is being seen as a rather significant move, the veteran moviemaker Buddhadev Dasgupta would be seen taking up the chair of the jury for selecting films in Indian Panorama for IFFI 2012.
 
He is getting to this role after nearly 16 years. It is heard that he would be accompanied by 15 jurists. A total of ten Bengali movies are expected to be watched by the jury.
 
Notable among them are Shabdo, Santiniketaney, Ekti Rahasya Galpo, Chitrangada starring Rituparna Sengupta and others. This should be interesting one for Buddha Da.
