Recently the famous director Srijit Mukherji was sharing his thoughts when he reportedly mentioned that his favourite rain song is Rimjhim rimjhim... from the Hindi movie 1942- A Love Story. He added that R D Burman is his favourite and he had composed the song brilliantly.

The song was conceptualized by Sanjay Bhansali and it was captured on camera by Vinod Pradhan. Srijit reportedly stated that it was a very mushy song and Manisha Koirala looked simply stunning. He also maintained that this is one of the best Bollywood songs.
