Lately it is being noticed that the state of Bengal has become the hub for many Bollywood moviemakers to shoot their films. Already, the film Lootera shot in places like Purulia.
 
Director Ribhu Dasgupta has shot at the Kolkata port for his film Michael. Then comes Anurag Basu whose new movie Barfi was shot extensively at Darjeeling. There is also another movie coming up.
 
This would be directed by Dibakar Banerjee and many are saying that Bengal is one state whose potential has not been tapped in terms of locations and remind them of Victorian era.
